Information we process

• Test answers and results: Completed result summaries, dates, skills, optional playing context and practice notes are saved in this browser under My results, up to 100 attempts, without silently replacing older attempts. In-progress Full Assessment answers and the latest full result are also kept locally for resume and report rendering. Daily streaks, seen-question identifiers and exploration counts stay local. Mini quizzes and short practice rounds are stored separately from IQ assessments. Browser storage may be blocked, cleared or removed by the browser; it is not an online database or cross-device account.
• Email address: Sent to the newsletter provider only when you choose to subscribe. The free six-email sequence does not send your quiz answers, IQ score or playing ratings to that provider.
• DUPR ID or rating: Optional. If you connect DUPR, the site asks our serverless API to look up your rating. If you type a rating manually, it stays in the local result payload. It is excluded from the paid report copy sent to our server.
• Playing experience: Optional time-playing band, self-reported and kept in your local result, notes and Full Assessment progress. It does not affect scoring and is not sent to our APIs or analytics. We do not currently collect a shared player-comparison dataset.
• WPR pro ranking: Optional, self-reported leaderboard and position. Kept in your assessment on this device, including saved Full Assessment progress and results. Not sent to the PPA Tour, our APIs or analytics. It appears in notes and coach briefs you choose to copy or download; review those before sharing.
• Coach Challenge links: Coach name, challenge title, selected question IDs, and an optional booking link may be encoded into a share URL. Student answers are calculated on the student's device unless they choose to send or share them.
• Practice and lesson briefs: Relevant quiz answers are kept in this tab's session storage to prepare a lesson brief. The site stops using this temporary handoff context after 24 hours. Completed practice-note snapshots in My results remain until you delete them or browser data is cleared. A lesson link contains a pattern identifier and a local reference, not your answers. Opening it in another browser does not retrieve your quiz answers. Copying or emailing the completed brief can include those answers; review the draft before sharing.
• Result exports and email drafts: Downloads and backups can include your saved playing context and practice notes. Email summary opens a draft in your email app; the website does not send that message or enroll you in marketing. The summary omits playing context and detailed practice notes. Imported backups are checked and stored in this browser, not uploaded.
• Question feedback: The form prepares a note in this tab with the question, its content version, your concern and any source link you add. It excludes your test results, playing ratings and coach-link details. Copying does not submit a report. Where email is offered, you review and send the draft from your email app; the website does not send it automatically. Do not include personal information in the concern or source link.
• Coach Match requests and applications: If you send a coach-match or coach-application email, the message includes the details you enter, such as location, specialty, booking link, notes, and any pasted challenge link.
• Practice Pack checkout and recovery: When purchasing is available, an explicit checkbox asks permission to save a private copy of that completed Full Assessment for online delivery. The copy contains its date, result identifier, score, skill breakdown, question text, correct answers, explanations and whether each question was answered correctly. It excludes your name, email, DUPR/WPR information and playing experience. Supabase stores the copy, an offer/price record, a Stripe checkout identifier and a hash of your private recovery credential. Online recovery lasts 365 days from starting checkout; expired copies are removed by daily cleanup. After deletion, we retain only the random purchase-request identifier to prevent an old request from creating another charge. That retained identifier has no score, questions, contact details or recovery credential. A daily-changing hashed network identifier limits checkout abuse. This is separate from optional analytics and does not create a player account.
• Payment status: Stripe collects payment and any required billing/contact details directly. Our server verifies payment and refund status before returning a purchased pack; it does not store full card numbers or forward billing/contact details into analytics. Your recovery link is private: anyone with it can access that pack. Keep a downloaded copy and the recovery link somewhere safe.
• Technical data: Hosting, security, and analytics providers may process standard logs such as IP address, user agent, page URL, and timestamps.

How information is used

Optional analytics: When Analytics choices is available, analytics is off until you opt in. PostHog receives a random browser identifier, random visit and attempt identifiers, page names and selected actions such as starting or completing a test, choosing another round, taking a mini quiz, continuing to the 20-question test, using short or focused practice, viewing or clicking a sponsor placement, and viewing the Practice Pack offer, starting checkout, encountering checkout errors, verifying a payment or downloading a pack. Commerce events also include the offer identifier, price and currency. We do not send your answers, scores, names, email, DUPR/WPR data, playing experience, private link details or full page URLs through these events. These events help measure repeat rounds, later-day returns, sponsor engagement and the purchase flow. Purchase-flow reports count consenting browsers and are not payment accounting; Stripe is the source for actual payments and refunds. Aggregate audience reports may be shared with prospective advertisers; they describe consenting browsers, not verified people or purchases. No individual browser identifiers or event histories are included in those reports. There is no session recording or automatic form capture. Your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps this optional analytics off. You can turn it off and remove the local analytics identifier from Analytics choices; doing so does not erase events already processed. Hosting and service providers still process normal technical request data.

Online question feedback: If the form offers Send feedback, it submits only the displayed question, content version, page, reason, concern and optional source link to our private Supabase review queue. It confirms receipt only after storage succeeds. Reports are retained for up to 180 days; a daily-changing hashed network identifier is used for abuse limits, not marketing. Do not include personal information. When online submission is unavailable, the form offers the email or copy draft described above.

Owner workspace: Supabase authenticates the site owner and stores private feedback and editorial reviews. Its sign-in session stays in the owner's browser until sign-out or expiry; sign out on shared devices. Owner sign-in does not create player accounts or upload saved results. Google Search Console supplies aggregate search-performance information when connected. Editorial approval records are retained for accountability.

We use information to show your results, resume an assessment, send requested emails, verify report purchases, improve questions, protect the site, and understand basic traffic patterns.

Service providers

Vercel hosts this site and processes normal web request logs. Optional payments, rating lookup, and email features use Stripe, DUPR, and the email provider when those features are offered. Their privacy terms apply to information you choose to send through them.

Your choices

You can take the free tests without connecting DUPR or entering an email. Anyone using the same browser profile may see its saved results. Use My results to download a backup or delete saved results, especially on a shared device. Email messages include unsubscribe controls when the newsletter provider is connected.

Removing your saved data

You can delete individual or all completed results in My results. Deleting the latest full result also removes its local report copy. This leaves your in-progress assessment and daily streak intact. Clear this site's data in browser settings to remove those, seen-question history and saved purchase-recovery credentials. Browser deletion does not erase a separately saved paid report on our server, downloaded copies, email you sent or Stripe payment records. To request removal of an online pack before its expiry, contact us with the checkout reference; do not email your private recovery credential or payment-card details.
